Best burger I've had in ages!!! Thank you for keeping it original!!!!!!

Best dive bar ever. Cheap, and great burgers. Never disappoints

Love this place. We go every time we visit Duluth. Worth the drive over to Superior.

Food is great! Fries cut and cooked to order. I visit about once or twice a year, and I am trying to work my way down the burger menu. Double cheese with fresh fries under $10. Nautical theme bar close to Port.

I love Anchor Bar for their outstanding hamburgers and affordable prices, have been a customer there for like 8 years. Their food is always fresh, well prepared and generously portioned. Maybe that's why this cute place is always crowded. It's a small bar, and it's hard to get a table inside it because of its well-deserved popularity. So sometimes it really makes sense to order food to go, that's what I'm doing the most often.

Cool place, great atmosphere, good food, and good service make this place an easy recommendation.

Always a fun experience to be at this bat. I look at it more of a great burger place, so young people are welcome here! Lots of families come here! Great prices. Good is great!

Hands down, the best burger I've had in decades! Service was welcoming and efficient. Atmosphere put you in the Era it was built. I couldn't help but feel the presence of past time memories of those who enjoyed the same experience as I had. Thank you for that!

Tiny little place. The servers were amazing to make sure every customer, and there were many, had what they wanted and were satisfied. So much to look at. The burgers were to die for. I had gotten to try both the Anchor Burger and the Jalepeno burger. Both of them were delicious.

Good service a solid burger and amazing fresh homemade French fries.

Can't beat this place for quick and delicious burger and fries. The jalapeño cream cheese burger add bacon is great.

Dive bar? Not really! The staff and burgers are amazing. We had two beers and two burgers (huge) with fries for under $25. Great place with great food. Unbelievable prices.

The atmosphere was very unique and fun, our waitress was very nice and accommodating, its a small place so it fills up fast, the bloody marys are delicious and not to spicy and the ruebenburger was absolutely delicious but could have used a lil more sourkrout so if you want a lil more ask for extra. Loved this place!

Saw this bar on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and had to stop on our next vacation. After hiking at the near by Pattison state park, a burger was sounding delicious. We sat immediately and could not stop looking around at the nautical artifacts that covered the wall and ceiling of the bar. The menu has a variety of burgers only with homemade fries. Burgers were DELICIOUS and cheap! A must stop if your in the superior area.

What an awesome burger! The fries, drinks, and service were outstanding! Could not beat the price. Thanks to my boss and Triple D for the thumbs up. Can't wait to travel through here again. Mmmmm

You must go here!! Yummy burgers, and there is so much to look at, the walls are covered with nautical memorabilia... They opened at 11am, we were there by 11:10, before 11:30 they were completely full... Nice outdoor seating... The staff is very busy, but still are attentive... Can't wait to go here again!!

Looking for a good burger at a great price? For over 20 years, my family has enjoyed the Anchor Bar. Our favorite table is in the game room; it has a great view of the bar, yet it is private. Place your order then, people watch or play a game of cards until your hot basket arrives. I always order the cashew burger. My daughter loves the sour cream and mushroom burger while my son's usually get an Anchor burger with two patties or the three patty Gallybuster; we all order the yummy fresh cut fries.

You for sure gets your money worth here!! I've never left hungry and have never spent more than 10 bucks a person!! I've been satisfied every time. I'll make sure I go back every time I'm in the duluth/ superior area!

Best burger anywhere, period! I make an effort to go out of my way to get here anytime I'm up from Texas. Great fresh-cut fries too. Dirt cheap prices...awesome dive bar.

This place is a slice of Americana. From the moment you enter this Blue Collar city you know it is going to be interesting. Going here is not about the food, or the prices, or those kinds of things, it is about the whole EXPERIENCE.
At one time this was just a gritty little local bar that served great burgers. By word of mouth it became famous.
In the world of Geocaching the Anchor would be called a Virtual Cache, you don't come here to get anything, you come here to see something. In this case, what you see is real America.
(It was cool to see the staff work as a team during a very busy time!)

Best little burger joint I've been to in a long time. Cashewburger??? You heard it there first!!! What a great price for such a great burger. Fries are outstanding as well. Love the decorating job.....really. How cool?!?!? Go there for yourself to see why. Worth the trip!!

There's a reason you can never get a seat. Burgers are incredible. And cheap! Two people can get burgers, fries, and a beer for $20. Cash only. And don't forget to tip for great service and excellent food

When we were visiting up there on the North shore area, we visited the depot in Duluth. We asked one of the attendans for a bar in the area that served good burgers...all of the people in the depot said the Anchor bar. They said it was a nautical themed bar and that the burgers we're awesome. They were right we both got burgers that we're awesome... So juicy and cooked just right. Can't wait to get back up there again, just for a burger.
